KARACHI: The price of gold in the country fell by Rs 200 while the dollar depreciated by 49 paise in one week.
According to the details, Chairman All Pakistan Jewelers Manufacturers Association Muhammad Arshad said that the price of gold per tola in the country has come down by Rs 200 to Rs 114,250.
After the reduction in the price of gold per tola, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 171 to Rs 97,934.
On the other hand, gold traded at 189 1898 an ounce in the global market at the end of the business week.
Dollar Weekly Report
At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (IFEX), the dollar depreciated by 49 paise in one week, from Rs 160.32 to Rs 159.83.
In the open market, the dollar depreciated by 20 paise in one week. In the open market, the dollar fell from 160.50 to 160.30 during the week.
