ISLAMABAD: The government has increased the prices of petroleum products. The Prime Minister has approved an increase in the price of petrol by Rs. 3.20 per liter.

In this regard, sources said that OGRA had recommended an increase in the price of petrol by Rs. 13 per liter but the Prime Minister approved an increase in the price of petrol by Rs. 3.20 per liter.

In addition, an increase of Rs. 2.95 per liter in diesel price has been approved while OGRA had recommended an increase in diesel price by Rs. 11 per liter.

According to sources, an increase of Rs. 3 per liter in the price of kerosene has been approved while an increase of Rs. 10 and a half in the price of kerosene was recommended.

The government has approved an increase of Rs. 4.42 per liter in the price of light diesel. OGRA had recommended Rs.15 per liter in the price of light diesel.
