RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army responded to India for violating the Line of Control (LoC) as a result of which the enemy army suffered heavy casualties while a young soldier of the Pakistan Army was also martyred.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army opened unprovoked fire on the Satwal sector of the Line of Control.

According to ISPR Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar, the Pakistan Army responded to the Indian provocation, which resulted in heavy casualties to the Indian Army.

According to ISPR, 22-year-old soldier Mukhtiar was martyred by Indian Army firing.
