ISLAMABAD: Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that 40,000 health workers will be vaccinated today. After the Chinese vaccine, the next vaccine will be AstraZeneca which will be available in Pakistan in a few weeks.
According to details, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said in his tweet on social networking website Twitter that code vaccination has been launched across the country from today.

Fawad Chaudhry said that 40,000 health workers would be vaccinated today and in the coming days more than one lakh people would be able to be vaccinated daily.
He said that after the Chinese vaccine, the next vaccine would be AstraZeneca which would be available in Pakistan in a few weeks.
It may be recalled that the first vaccine against coronavirus was administered in Pakistan yesterday. Prime Minister Imran Khan had launched a corona vaccination campaign in the country.
The first coronavirus vaccine in Pakistan was administered to Dr. Rana Imran Sikandar of PIMS Hospital.
Addressing the inaugural function, the Prime Minister had said that vaccination of health workers is most important and SOPs must be followed to prevent coronavirus.
