Manama: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Deputy Supreme Commander of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Army Chief was also awarded the Bahrain Order “First Class”.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Bahrain, where he met with Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain Defense Forces in Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed. Mutual interest, defense, and security cooperation were discussed.
The ISPR said that the Army Chief was also awarded the Bahrain Order “First Class”. The Crown Prince presented the award to the Army Chief during the ceremony.
According to the spokesperson, the Chief of Army Staff attended the closing ceremony of the Pak-Bahrain Joint Military Exercise Al-Badr Fayou and appreciated the quality and performance of the training of the soldiers in the exercises and said that the exercises would strengthen the counter-terrorism efforts.
