RAWALPINDI: According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting was chaired by the Chief of Army Staff at the Corps Commanders Conference held in GHQ, which reviewed the regional and national security situation Issues of security, professional interest was also discussed.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the Pakistan Army has a role to play in tackling the challenges faced by all elements of national institutions.

Conference participants reiterated their full support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and called for resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris. The participants reiterated their commitment to support the Kashmiris till they get their due as per the UN resolutions and expressed full solidarity with the Kashmiris till the goal is achieved.

The commanders said, “The struggle of the brave Kashmiris will be successful, In sha Allah.”

According to ISPR, satisfaction was expressed over the progress made in the peace process in Afghanistan. The corps commanders participating in the conference said that all kinds of threats can be completely defeated through national efforts, for which all sections of the society have to play their meaningful role.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that all challenges can be tackled with the best capabilities at all levels, all elements of national institutions have a role to play in tackling the challenges.

The conference also discussed measures to deal with Corona, while participants paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed for peace, reiterating their commitment that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain, terrorists and their facilitators Will be defeated at all costs.
