KARACHI: A fake girl in the city of Quaid robbed a young man from Sukkur after befriending him on social media.

According to the details, the horrific result of the friendship made on social media came to light. A fake girl called a young man from Sukkur and robbed him in Karachi.

In this regard, the police said that a 17-year-old youth from Sukkur had come to Karachi five days ago at the call of a girl. The family of the youth suspected that their son had been abducted by someone, and they went to Karachi in search of him.

Police claim that the 17-year-old boy was shopping with his girlfriend on Tariq Road. When his family tried to force him into a car, people considered it kidnapping, so a crowd of citizens gathered there.

According to the police, the girl snatched Rs. 70,000 from a young man from Sukkur and fled the scene. Meanwhile, the police rescued the boy and his family from the civilians and brought them to Ferozeabad station.

Police said that the alleged counterfeit girl was demanding Rs. 30,000 more from the youth, while he had already done Rs. 70,000 shopping.

Police officials say they are looking for the fake girl after getting information from the victim.
