ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and the federal cabinet have decided to mortgage the Islamabad Club by rejecting a proposal to obtain a loan by mortgaging F9 Park.

According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the cabinet considered the overall economic situation of the country.

The Prime Minister rejected the proposal to obtain a loan by mortgaging F9 Park and it was decided in the cabinet meeting that national property would not be mortgaged for the loan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the Finance Secretary why there was a proposal to mortgage the F9 Park built for the people. In a briefing on Sukuk bonds, the finance secretary said, “It is an Islamic bond. I thought of issuing Sukuk bonds to correct past mistakes. It is only symbolic. In practice, it does not matter.”

Imran Khan said that he knows what is Skok Bond, the park should not be symbolically mortgaged for public use, Pak was given the wrong impression by symbolically mortgaging.
If it were not for the mortgage in practice, the Prime Minister would have mortgaged the house.

The Finance Secretary said that the value of land has to be taken into account for Sukuk bonds. Prime Minister Imran Khan directed that the park built for the people should not be mortgaged.

According to sources, the federal cabinet has decided to mortgage the Islamabad club instead of F9 Park. The finance ministry will present a summary of the issuance of Sukuk bonds for the Islamabad club, after which the cabinet will approve the issuance of Sukuk bonds for the Islamabad club.
