RAWALPINDI: Indian forces opened unprovoked fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in which soldiers were martyred.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army continues to provoke the LOC. The Indian Army violated the ceasefire agreement on the Deva sector of the LOC.

According to ISPR, the Pakistan Army responded quickly and effectively, causing heavy casualties to Indian troops.

According to the Pakistan Army spokesman, 28-year-old soldier Nabil Liaqat was martyred in the exchange of fire.

ISPR says that martyred officer Nabil Liaqat belongs to Gujar Khan.

It is to be noted that in the last few days also, Indian forces had opened unprovoked fire on Khanjar and Broha sectors of LOC as a result of which two elderly persons were injured.

It may be recalled that on December 22, three civilians, including an elderly woman martyr and a 4-year-old girl, were injured in an unprovoked firing by the Indian Army on the LOC.
