One week ago, at least 10 Hazara miners were killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on a coalfield in the Machh area of Balochistan.
After the incident, the relatives of the victims staged a sit-in protest in the western bypass area of Quetta, including the dead, which lasted for six days in severe cold.
The bodies were buried two days ago after which Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Quetta and offered condolences to the bereaved families.
