ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has given permission for the emergency use of the Russian Corona vaccine, after which the Sputnik V vaccine will be available in Pakistan.

According to the details, the government of Pakistan allowed the emergency use of the Russian Corona vaccine, the emergency use of Sputnik Five was allowed by the DRAP Registration Board, and permission was given under Section 7 of the Sputnik V Coding Act 1976.

Sources said that DRAP approval will allow the use of the Sputnik V vaccine in Pakistan. The Pakistani company had sought permission for the emergency use of Sputnik V.

According to DRAP sources, Karachi-based pharma company Sputnik V will import the Corona vaccine. The pharma company has been given emergency use of Sputnik V for three months.

Sources said that the Sputnik V vaccine will be given to people above 18 years of age, the vaccine will have to be stored at a temperature of minus 18, the pharma company will be obliged to collect the data drip of vaccinated people and will compile the distribution record of the vaccine.

DRAP sources said that the success rate of the Sputnik V corona vaccine is 91.6% and has been prepared locally with the cooperation of the Russian government, prepared by Sputnik V National Research Center Epidemiology Microbiology.

According to sources, Russia has twice offered to sell vaccines to Pakistan at the government level.
