KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Vice President Maryam Nawaz spoke to the media on her return from a visit to Quetta. In which she criticized the statement of the Prime Minister but she could not give an answer to the question of a journalist.

While talking to the media, the journalist asked Maryam Nawaz, “Did you go to Model Town during your time?” However, she ignored this question.

The journalist asked Maryam Nawaz how many times did you and Nawaz Sharif meet the family members of the Model Town tragedy? Hundreds of people of the Hazara community were martyred in the Nawaz era. How many times did you go?

Maryam Nawaz could not answer any of these questions, while in her speech she sharply criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that only his ego was preventing him from going to his family.

Maryam Nawaz said that Prime Minister insulted humanity by calling the victims blackmailers. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had said in his address at a function in Islamabad today that it was not appropriate to have a condition for the arrival of the Prime Minister for the burial of the martyrs.

He said it was not uncommon in any country to blackmail the prime minister. I have said that as soon as they bury the martyrs I will go to Quetta. If they bury them today, I will go to Quetta today. When all the demands have been met, why the condition for burial?

In her criticism, Maryam Nawaz said that how could anyone who was not allowed to go to Quetta give NRO, will the Prime Minister give NRO to the bodies? Not to say that politics is going on, politics is the name of serving the nation and the people. However, when asked by a journalist about Model Town and the Hazara community in the context of public service, she ignored it.
