RAWALPINDI: According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Army shot down another Indian quadcopter in the Chakoti sector of the Line of Control.

According to the Pakistan Army spokesman, the Indian spy drone had entered Pakistani territory 500 meters on Chakoti sector.

It may be recalled that on January 1, the Indian Army had shot down an Indian quadcopter at Nowshera sector. The Indian quadcopter had entered Pakistani territory within 100 meters and was targeted by the Pakistan Army.

A statement issued by the Pakistan Army said that during the year 2020, the Pakistan Army has shot down 16 Indian quadcopters for violating the Line of Control.

It may be recalled that on June 28, June 5, May 27 and 25, the Pakistan Army also targeted Indian quadcopters (drones) on the LOC.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Department (ISPR) said that the Indian quadcopter had entered the Nikron sector within 700 meters of Pakistani territory.

Later, the Pakistan Army shot down India’s 11th spy drone on September 9 and the 10th spy drone on July 26 for violating the Line of Control. It should be noted that flying drones on the Line of Control or violating the border is a violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement.
