ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has condemned the killing of judges in Kabul and termed the incident as a barbaric act and said there is no military solution to the Afghan conflict, the parties should promote the peace process.
According to details, a statement issued by the Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan condemns the killing of judges in Kabul and expresses regret over the incident, this barbaric act is terrorism. Pakistan condemns terrorism in any form.
“We have already called for a reduction in violence and a ceasefire. There is no military solution to the Afghan conflict. The parties must promote the peace process. Pakistan urges the Afghan peace process to move forward,” the spokesman said.
Unidentified gunmen attacked a female judge’s car in the Qala-e-Fateh area of the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Sunday, killing two female judges on the spot and seriously injuring two others.
According to media reports, no group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack, but police and security forces gathered evidence from the scene and launched a search operation in the surrounding areas to arrest the culprits.
