Lahore: At the PDM summit, the PDM parties formulated options for the National Dialogue.
Sources said that important differences have emerged in the summit of the Pakistan Democratic Movement on the one hand and on the other hand options for grand talks have also been worked out.
PML-N sources said that only Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, or Maryam Nawaz will have the power to negotiate, other PML-N leadership will not have the power to hold grand talks.
Similarly, only Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal will have the power to hold grand talks in the PPP.
According to sources, important differences have emerged in the PDM summit, the parties continue to try to persuade each other on a single position.
The JUI was of the view that all members of the Assemblies should resign from the leadership. Asif Zardari and Bilawal immediately disagreed on the resignation while the PML-N agreed with the JUI’s position.
Sources said that the PPP is of the view that full participation should be made in the Senate and by-elections, while the PML-N is of the view that it should participate in the Senate elections but not in the by-elections. You should not run in the elections but resign.
It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, and Bilawal participated in the PDM summit in Jatiya Amira through video link.
Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair has claimed that all the resignations have come, if all these resignations are used together, it will be more effective. He said that PDM was united and the meeting would bring good news.
