ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Center has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch a nationwide anti-corona campaign tomorrow. In the first phase, the corona vaccine will be given to health workers.

According to details, a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) was held in Islamabad. A briefing was given on the corona vaccine including the corona situation.

It was informed in the briefing that the first batch of corona vaccine has arrived, the Prime Minister will inaugurate it tomorrow, in the first phase health workers and in the second phase, people will be vaccinated over 65 years while children under the age of 18 will not be vaccinated against coronavirus.

The meeting also considered allowing 25 percent of spectators to enter the stadium during PSL matches to allow a limited number of people in the stadium.

During the briefing, it was informed that in the first phase, the vaccination of front-line workers of 15 sensitive cities, the staff of isolation centers, private and government hospitals will be vaccinated.

Sources said that the country-wide anti-corona campaign will start tomorrow at 11 am in NCOC, anti-corona campaign in the federation and provinces will start simultaneously.

It was said in the briefing that registration of front line health care workers from all over the country is underway. The number of registered fronts line health workers has exceeded 5 lakh 3 thousand. Vaccination of health workers of the country will be completed before March 31.
