ISLAMABAD: The government in collaboration with the international organization UNICEF has decided to introduce ‘Successful Young Juniors’ for children.
According to details, a joint venture agreement has been signed between UNICEF and the government under which a unique program for children between the ages of 10 and 19 will be introduced.
Special Assistant Usman Dar and UNICEF’s IDA Grama signed the agreement and the government and UNICEF agreed to set up an Adolescent Equality Index in Pakistan.
A policy will be formulated for the welfare of the children, permanent solution of the problems faced and it will be possible to guide the children at an early age through the Equality Index.
IDA Garma says UNICEF will also provide training and technical assistance to stakeholders and assist in reviewing child-related social sector policies.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar said that the purpose of the index is to assess the problems and difficulties of children between the ages of 10 and 19. We will work together for the welfare of children through the program.
