RAWALPINDI: British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr. Kirsten Turner called on the Army Chief.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr. Kirsten Turner visited GHQ.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, British High Commissioner Kirsten Turner called on the Chief of Army Staff and discussed issues of mutual interest and regional security.
The ongoing reconciliation process in Afghanistan was also discussed during the meeting, according to ISPR.
On the other hand, the Army Chief visited the Logistics Workshop, Rawalpindi, where he was received by the Chief of Logistics Staff, Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa inspected various parts and installations in the workshop. The Army Chief was briefed on the issues of vehicle upgradation and improvement.
According to the Army spokesman, the Army Chief appreciated the engineering standards and innovative measures.
