KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 on Turkish Airlines for non-implementation of Corona SOPs (precautionary measures).

According to details, Civil Aviation (CAA) imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 on Turkish Airlines. The airline, in violation of the SOPs, allowed two passengers to travel from Senegal to Istanbul without a corona test, after which the passengers were flown from Istanbul to Lahore on a connecting flight.

The CAA Air Transport Department also issued a notification of fines for the negligence of Turkish Airlines. Civil aviation has made coronet tests mandatory for passengers in B-category countries.

Keep in mind that the CAA is taking steps to prevent Corona. The inclusion of different countries in the categories is a link in the same chain, the country with the highest severity of the epidemic has been placed in the B category.
