PESHAWAR: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that in his personal opinion if the resignations from the assembly were not given, the long march might not be very useful.
Talking to the media in Peshawar, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the final strategy of the long march would be decided at the PDM meeting tomorrow and resignations from Parliament were also on the agenda.
“In my personal opinion, the long march may not be very useful if we do not resign from this assembly,” he said.
The PDM chief said that the timing of the long march would be decided by the PDM and the long march was not a one-day affair, everyone agreed on the long march on March 26 and Corona would not be able to block our path.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman added that in the past, members of various parties misused their votes But the betrayal of a single member does not weaken the position of the opposition and it is not appropriate to call a betrayal of a member as party policy or party opinion, the opposition is united, we will see in tomorrow’s meeting why our votes decreased.
He said that why loyalties are changing, there will be pressure behind it, there will be greed or threats, someone will be working on it.
