Christchurch: Before the second Test match against New Zealand, the bad news for the national team is that the famous batsman Babar Azam could not get rid of the injury.

According to details, Babar Azam has been ruled out of the second Test against New Zealand due to injury. He had started light practice three days ago, however, Babar Azam felt pain in his thumb again during practice yesterday. The team management has also rested Babar Azam in the second Test against New Zealand.

After the absence of the famous batsman and Test captain, wicket keeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan will lead the team in the second Test against the Kiwis.

It should be noted that Babar Azam was injured when the ball hit his thumb during practice before the first Test.

The PCB has also tweeted about Babar Azam’s non-participation in the second Test.
