Karachi Kings achieved the target of 189 runs for 4 wickets in the last over, Babar Azam remained unbeaten with 77 runs, Saqib Mahmood of Peshawar Zalmi took 2 wickets, Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Irfan took one wicket each.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi gave a target of 189 runs to Karachi Kings to win.

In a match played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim won the toss and invited Peshawar to bat first.

For Peshawar, Tom Kohler, Cadmore and Kamran Akmal started the innings but Kamran Akmal was dismissed for 22 off 30 overs, then Cadmore at 33 and captain Shoaib Malik at 34. Haider Ali was the fourth out of Peshawar Zalmi who returned to the pavilion with 9 runs.

After four players were dismissed early, veterans Ravi Bopara and Sharfin Rutherford batted well and put their team ahead, Rutherford was dismissed for 46 runs.

After that, Imad Butt came on the wicket and showed smoky batting by scoring 23 runs off 7 balls to take his team’s score to 188 while Ravi Bopara remained unbeaten on 58 off 40 balls.
