According to the details, Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Bismah Maroof has announced her withdrawal from the tour of South Africa due to family reasons.
The Pakistani women’s cricket team is scheduled to visit South Africa next month in preparation for a training camp in Karachi.
Bismah Maroof participated in the training camp and this afternoon she left Karachi for Lahore due to personal and family issues.
Urooj Mumtaz, the chief selector of the women’s team, confirmed that Bismillah Maroof will not be available for the tour of South Africa.
She said that the 17-member squad for the tour of South Africa will be announced on Thursday, December 31, in which the name of the interim captain will also be revealed.
It should be noted that Pakistan women’s team will play three ODIs and three T20 matches in South Africa.
