Fawad Alam, the middle-order batsman of the national team, scored a century in the fourth innings against New Zealand and won many unique awards.

In the fourth innings on the last day of the Mount Manga Noi Test between Pakistan and New Zealand, Fawad Alam scored a magnificent century after 11 years, the second Test century of his career. Earlier, Fawad Alam had scored a century in his Test debut in 2009.

Fawad Alam has become the first Pakistani batsman to score a century in the fourth innings in New Zealand.

Fawad Alam also became the national wicket-taker in the fourth innings outside Asia.

Fawad Alam was on the wicket for more than 360 minutes, the longest time by any Pakistani batsman outside Asia in this century.

Earlier, Asad Shafiq had batted for 336 minutes in the fourth innings in Brisbane in 2016.
