Colombo: Former national cricket team head coach Mickey Arthur and Sri Lankan cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne have contracted the coronavirus.

According to the details, Sri Lankan head coach Mickey Arthur and Sri Lankan cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne were tested with the team for corona, with positive results.

The corona test of the Sri Lankan team and coaching staff was taken while the Sri Lankan team was preparing for the tour of the West Indies, a series will be played between the two teams later this month.

“I don’t know when and how I got corona because I didn’t take part in any significant activity after the tour of England,” said Mickey Arthur.

The head coach said that this proves that everyone needs to be careful and safe.

On the other hand, Sri Lankan cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne reported suffering from corona on the social networking site Twitter.

“My corona test is positive, but I have no symptoms of the corona, I don’t know how I got corona,” Thirimanne wrote.
