New Delhi: India beat England by 10 wickets in the third Test to knock them out of the ICC Test Champions final.

According to details, in the third Test match played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, India easily defeated England by 10 wickets, Akshar Patel has declared the best player of the match, India has taken the lead by 2-1 in the series against England.

The English team piled up 112 runs in the first innings, England’s Zac Crowley played an innings of 53 runs, Akshar Patel took 6 wickets, Ravi Chandra Eshwan took 3 wickets.

The Indian team also piled up 145 runs in the first innings, Rohit Sharma played an innings of 66 runs, captain Joe Root 5 and Jack Leach 4 wickets remained prominent.

The English team scored only 81 runs in their second innings and gave India a target of 49 runs to win which India achieved without any loss, giving India a 2-1 lead in the Test series.

With this defeat, England was knocked out of the ICC Test Championship. To reach the final of the Test Championship, India must defeat England in the fourth Test.

In case of defeat in the fourth Test, the Indian team will be eliminated from the final of the event and then the teams of New Zealand and Australia will compete in the final.
