New Delhi: India has started looking for excuses not to play with Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
According to Indian media, the Indian team is thinking of withdrawing from the Asia Cup. During the Asia Cup, India wants to play a series that was postponed due to the coronavirus last year.
The Asia Cup postponed due to Corona was scheduled in Sri Lanka in June this year.
It should be noted that on July 9 last year, the Asian Cricket Council had announced the postponement of the Asia Cup 2020 due to Corona.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani said there was no politics behind the cancellation of the Asia Cup.
Ehsan Mani said that the decision to postpone the Asia Cup was taken due to an epidemic, adding that the Asian Cricket Council was considering holding the event next year.
The PCB chairman had said that Pakistan would host the Asia Cup in 2022.
