LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied reports that head coach Misbah-ul-Haq has been removed following the national team’s repeated failures.

According to details, rumors are circulating that Misbah-ul-Haq may be removed before the series against South Africa, in response to which the Pakistan Cricket Board has clarified that the news of Misbah’s resignation is untrue.

Earlier, sources said that Misbah-ul-Haq could be removed before the series against South Africa. The national team will play a home series against South Africa this month.

Sources said that Younis Khan is the top coach in the series against South Africa, while the head coach of the national team will be advertised after the South Africa series. There is a strong possibility of bringing a foreign head coach for the national team after the South Africa series.

The cricket committee will meet tomorrow in which Misbah-ul-Haq will have tough questions.
