Lahore: The players drafting ceremony of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League will be held in Lahore today. The first player in the drafting will be picked by Islamabad United.

According to the details, the players drafting ceremony of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League will be held in Lahore today, where six franchises will select players from Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Emerging categories.

Islamabad United will pick the first player in the drafting. More than 400 cricketers, including players from Australia, England, New Zealand, and South Africa, have registered for the PSL Six draft.

PSL 6: Which players will remain in Karachi Kings?

Defending champions Karachi Kings released a list of retained players for the sixth season of the PSL yesterday. Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Amir have been retained in the squad, besides Sharjeel Khan, Amir Amin Waqas Maqsood and Arshad Iqbal will also be part of Karachi Kings.

The Karachi Kings replaced Alex Hales with Colin Ingram. Colin Ingram was traded to Islamabad United in place of Alex Hales. Sharjeel Khan remains in the gold category, Waqas Maqsood Silver, and Arshad Iqbal will remain in the emerging category.

PSL 6 schedule

According to the schedule released by Pakistan Super League, PSL season 6 will start from February 20 while the final will be played on March 22. All the matches of season 6 will be played in Pakistan for which Lahore and Karachi will play. Stadiums have been selected.

All first-round matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi, the first of which will be played on Saturday, February 20, between the Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators. In total, 20 matches will be played in Karachi and 13 in Lahore, including the final.

Karachi will play two matches day and night on February 21, the first between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi on the first day and the second between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans at night.

Karachi Kings will play their second match against Islamabad United on February 24, while the third will be against Lahore Qalandars on February 28. Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will face each other on March 3 and Karachi Kings and Islamabad United on March 7. The match will be played at night.

In the second phase, Karachi Kings will play their first match on March 10 against Peshawar Zalmi, March 13 against Kings Gladiators, and March 14 against traditional Hurriyat Lahore Qalandars.
