LAHORE: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Punjab Law Minister regarding the visit of the South African cricket team to Pakistan in which the security situation was reviewed.

According to details, a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat. During the meeting, the security of the touring South African cricket team was reviewed. Agreed on various issues.

Raja Basharat said that foolproof security should be provided to the team everywhere in the province.

During the meeting, the provincial law minister directed the concerned agencies to take all necessary measures against crime in the province and ensure police patrol during fog, especially at night.

It should be noted that the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa will be played on January 26 in Karachi, the second Test between the two teams will start on February 4 in Rawalpindi.

3 T20 matches between Pakistan and South Africa are scheduled in Lahore which will be played after the Test series.
