Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the best team of the current decade.
According to the details, the ICC announced the best team of the current decade, no Pakistani player could make a place in the three formats, ODI and T20 leadership were led by former India captain MS Dhoni, Test captain Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli is the only player to make a place in the team of all the three formats, the teams were selected through online voting of the fans.
The T20 team of the current decade
The best T20 team of the current decade includes players from six countries, while four players from the Indian team, including Dhoni, have been included.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been appointed as the captain of the team, other players include Jaspreet Bamra, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma.
The T20 XI includes Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, Australian captain Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, South Africa’s AB de Villiers, West Indies’ Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, and Sri Lankan fast bowler Leith Malinga.
The ODI team of the current decade
The ODI captaincy has also been handed over to Dhoni. Other players include Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Australian opener David Warner, Mitchell Starc, South Africa’s AB de Villiers, and Imran Tahir.
The ODI team also includes Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, England’s Ben Stokes, Kiwi fast bowler Trent Bolt, and Sri Lankan fast bowler Leith Malinga.
Test team of the current decade
Virat Kohli has been named captain of the Test team, along with England’s Alastair Cook, Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad, and James Anderson.
Australian batsman Steve Smith, spinner Nathan Lane, Kiwi captain Ken Williamson, former Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara, and South African fast bowler Dale Steyn are also in the Test squad. Surprisingly, Pakistani league spinner Yasir Shah did not make the Test squad. ۔
