Dubai: The International Cricket Council has introduced new awards for the best performances of players.
According to details, the ICC has introduced new awards in cricket, including the Player of the Month award.
According to a statement issued by the ICC, the Player of the Month award will be given through voting. The award will be given for the best performance of both male and female cricketers.
For voting, the ICC will set up an independent voting academy consisting of former athletes, broadcasters, and sports journalists from around the world, including spectators. The panel will vote on both the ICC Player of the Month (Men and Women).

Pakistan’s Nada Dar has been included in the International Cricket Council’s shortlist of women cricketers, while no Pakistani player has been selected for the men’s team.
The ICC has included Indian captain Mohammad Siraj, Rishabh Pant, Natarajan, Ravi Chandra Ashwin, including English captain Jorot and Steve Smith for the month of January, and also included Afghanistan’s Rahmullah Garbaz in the Player of the Month award.
