KARACHI: Former national team captain Shahid Khan Afridi has said that in the past, the PCB has done the same to me and Razzaq as it has done to Aamir recently.

According to details, former star all-rounder Shahid Afridi while talking to the media said that the decision of Mohammad Aamir’s retirement is his own. People should respect his decision but in the past, the PCB has done the same with many cricketers.

Shahid Afridi said that Aamir’s decision to retire must have been made with forethought. He did what he thought was best. Fans and former cricketers should support Aamir.

“Abdul Razzaq and I have also faced similar treatment by the cricket board. The PCB also needs to improve its attitude,” Afridi accused the PCB.

It is to be noted that Mohammad Aamir had recently announced his retirement from cricket out of frustration with the attitude of the team management. The fast bowler had blamed head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis.

Aamir said that the current management has fallen behind me, repeatedly accused me of leaving Test cricket for the league, former cricketers criticize me for justifying the mistake of 2010.

He said that he never refused to play for Pakistan, there is no difference between Ehsan Mani and Wasim Khan. The reason I took retirement was the attitude of the team management.
