LAHORE: Former national cricket team captain Shahid Khan Afridi has said that disputes between team coaches and fast bowlers are an old tradition here and the board should play the role of father.

He said this while talking to the media in Lahore. He said that PCB should talk to every player about the future of the players.

In response to a question about fast bowler Mohammad Amir, Boom Boom Afridi said that the PC should inform Mohammad Amir and solve the problem by calling him.

He said that the role of the cricket board is always like that of a father and the PCB should treat all the players as its own children.

Shahid Afridi said that coaching is not only the name of teaching but also the players have to be encouraged and supported, they should work together for the honor of the country.

The former captain said that the players are being fed ODI and Test cricket on the basis of T20 performances, which I see the new talent will disappear in the near future.
