Mumbai: The young opener of the Indian cricket team Prithviraj Shaw started defending his performance despite the shocking defeat in the Adelaide Test against Australia.

According to the details, the young opener of the Indian cricket team Prithviraj Shaw returned to the pavilion at zero in the first innings of the Adelaide Test and four runs in the second innings. He was severely criticized on social media by former cricketers and fans.

Prithviraj Shaw was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the first innings while in the second innings he was bowled by fast bowler Pat Cummins for just four runs.

Fed up with the criticism, the young opener shared a post on the social networking site Instagram, saying, “When we go to do something, some people start to get discouraged. It means you can do it, but they don’t.”

It should be noted that Prithvi Shaw was included in the team on the basis of IPL and domestic performance. Prithvi Shah has scored 339 runs in 5 Test innings at an average of 42.4.

In the second innings of the Adelaide Test, the Indian team was all out for 36 runs, the Kangaroos defeated India by 8 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
