After the delivery, the batsman asked the umpire about the number of balls remaining, after which he suddenly fell ill and fell to the ground.

When the batsman lost his breath, the umpire and fellow batsman tried to hold his breath by squeezing his chest but he could not recover.

When the batsman was taken to hospital, doctors confirmed his death and said he had died of a heart attack.

Earlier in January, a 25-year-old cricketer had lost his life during a match in India.
