KARACHI: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is the first bowler in the history of the ICC World Cup to bowl at a speed of 100 mph.

Shoaib Akhtar made this date on the same day in the match against England during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa.

When Shoaib Akhtar bowled the last ball of his second over, his speed was 161.3 kmph or 100.2 mph.

On the completion of 18 years of this feat, the Pakistan Cricket Board today shared a video of this historic ball.

Remember that Shoaib Akhtar is one of the fastest bowlers in world cricket.
