A car bomb blast in Afghanistan’s Herat Province has killed at least eight people and injured dozens.
A car bomb blast at a police outpost has killed at least eight people and injured 60 others, according to Afghan media reports.
Afghan officials say seven people killed in the blast were civilians, while Herat police say a blast in a residential area affected more than a dozen homes.
The Afghan media blast also injured 11 security personnel, most of them children, who are being treated at various hospitals.
No group has claimed responsibility for the car bombing.
