US President Donald Trump has refused to attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

In a statement on Twitter, Donald Trump wrote that he wanted to tell everyone who asked him that he would not attend Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

In an earlier tweet, President Trump wrote that the patriots who voted for him would not be treated unfairly.

According to US media, the US Congress has approved Joe Biden as President and Kamla Harris as Vice President of the United States, after which Joe Biden became the 46th President of the United States. According to the US Congress, Joe Biden and Kamla Harris will be sworn in on January 20.

Joe Biden was officially declared the winner after the official election of the Electoral College in the United States on December 15. Trump once again refused to accept Joe Biden as president. Joe Biden received 306 electoral votes, while President Trump received 232.
