Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti government has announced a partial or total curfew to curb the spread of the global coronavirus.

In this regard, government spokesman Tariq al-Muzarram said that all options to combat the spread of coronavirus are among the priorities of the health authorities.

The head of the government communications center and the official spokesman for the Kuwaiti government, Tariq al-Muzarram, has confirmed that partial or total curfews are currently in place, hinting at a possible increase in measures to combat the Kovid 19 virus. No decision has been made yet.

Tariq al-Muzarram also pointed out that all options are on the table of health officials to combat the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

In a press statement, Al-Muzarram stressed the need to stay away from rumors, saying that everyone should rely on health needs and information from government sources.

In this regard, reliable sources also hinted at the intention to impose a partial curfew across the country for a period of 21 days on Tuesday, February 23 from 7 pm to 7 am.

He said that the Home Ministry had addressed various agencies and agencies which are required during curfew hours and they are present during curfew hours.

He demanded that they provide the names of those who want to issue permits so that necessary steps can be taken in this regard. At the same time, the sources indicated that the licenses issued earlier could be reused.

He said that from the beginning of the curfew period, the Nasib border would be closed and only the entry of the Salmi border would be left open in view of the lack of adequate medical staff to carry out the necessary medical examinations and quarantine procedures at both the ports.
