Riyadh: King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia vaccinated against coronavirus at a vaccination center in New York City.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Gulf state of Saudi Arabia also administered the first dose of the corona vaccine, a foreign news agency reported.

Saudi Health Minister Tawfiq al-Rubayeh thanked King Salman for administering the corona vaccine.

The Saudi Minister of Health said that the Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques have provided all possible assistance to the citizens and foreigners residing in the state since the beginning of the Karuna epidemic.

Foreign media say that Saudi Arabia is pursuing a precautionary policy before treatment, which is why King Salman had earlier expressed his desire to get the corona vaccine.
