BEIJING: Experts at the World Health Organization (WHO), which is investigating the origin and spread of coronavirus, say they have found no evidence of the virus in Wuhan’s meat market and laboratory.
According to Chinese media reports, Russian doctor Vladimir Didikov, who is part of the WHO team investigating the coronavirus, said there was no evidence that the coronavirus had emerged from the Wuhan meat market. However, it is possible that the virus originated here.
“Precautionary measures are being taken to prevent an epidemic in the Wuhan meat market,” he said in a statement. Looking at it, it can be said that even if the virus was born in Wuhan, it has not spread from there.
He said the laboratory at the Wuhan Virology Institute also found no evidence of spreading coronavirus because the laboratory was equipped with all the necessary equipment, making it difficult to imagine a virus erupting from there.
The Wuhan Laboratory was established as an archive of genetic information about the coronavirus of bats after the SARS epidemic in 2002-2003, and since the outbreak of the corona epidemic, it has been claimed that the corona has been used in the laboratory. Artificially created, after which the virus came out of the laboratory and spread all over the world.
Recall that at the end of 2019, cases of coronavirus began to be reported from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, after which the virus spread all over the world. Former US President Trump has repeatedly accused China of spreading the corona.
Chinese officials claim that the coronavirus originated in India during a heatstroke and then came to China from there.
