According to Arab media, Houthi rebels tried to target the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait with a drone, but the Arab coalition forces tracked down the drone and destroyed it in the air. Houthi rebels also fired two ballistic missiles yesterday. However, no casualties were reported.

A spokesman for the Arab Coalition Forces, Colonel Turk al-Maliki, said all necessary steps were being taken to prevent attacks by Houthi rebels and to protect Saudi citizens.

It should be noted that the past few weeks have seen an increase in missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels in Yemen, while many countries have strongly condemned the attacks by Houthi rebels.
