The Hague: Iran has won a major victory against the United States in the International Court of Justice.

According to the foreign news agency, the International Court of Justice has declared Tehran’s petition against Washington admissible, Iran has called it a great victory against the United States.

According to international media reports, the petition was filed by Iran in the International Court of Justice on July 16, 2018. Iran has called on the International Court of Justice to order the United States to lift sanctions against Iran.

Iran has argued that the lawsuit argues that the Trump administration’s decision violated the 1955 agreement between Tehran and Washington, while Washington insisted that the ICJ have sanctions on Iran. There is no option to terminate.

But the ICJ, in its brief ruling in favor of Tehran, said the International Court of Justice had the power to hear appeals against the United States, and experts said it could take months or years for its detailed rulings to come to light.

Fifteen judges of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) wrote a joint ruling, while one judge disagreed, saying the US move hurt Iran’s economy.

Meanwhile, Iran has welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice. Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif said that the decision of the court is another achievement of Iran. The ICJ has rejected the initial objections of the US sanctions on Tehran.

In 2015, then-US President Barack Obama signed an agreement in Vienna between other world powers, including Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia, and the United States, on Iran’s nuclear program.

However, on May 8, 2018, US President Donald Trump declared Iran a dangerous country and announced his withdrawal from the nuclear deal signed by former President Barack Obama with world powers including China, Russia, Britain, and Germany.
