WASHINGTON: Security Agencies in the United States has tightened their grip on the Capitol Hill attackers, by identifying 300 people involved.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, supporters of US President Donald Trump tried to attack the government building and stop the official announcement of Biden’s victory.

The acting attorney general said 300 people involved in the attack had been identified and 140,000 videos and photos of the attack on the Congress had been collected.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, 98 cases have been registered under other crimes including rioting and assault. FBI officials say 100 people involved in the Capitol Hill attack have been arrested.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation says the arrests include former military and other administrative officials.

U.S. media say members of Congress were charged with conspiracy to commit murder during the attack.
